Juggling Life

It’s been seven months today! I had my six-month check-up with the neurosurgeon last week, which went well. My doctor did remind me that most of my healing was done, but "they say you can continue to heal for a year or more.” I do feel better than I did a month ago, but my weak hip is still an issue and I have numb legs.
I’m back at work, trying to juggle continued therapy and workouts with my everyday assignments and work trips to Denver and Miami.
I had my last OT session yesterday. Considering that when I first went there I arrived in a wheelchair and couldn’t grasp small objects, it’s pretty amazing what I can do now. But there was one skill I had before the accident that I tried to do nearly every week at OT
without much success: juggling.
The first video below was taken June 16. The second was yesterday.
I guess I’m done with OT!
I can’t keep up with you, Lee Coogle! Really? Juggling!!! You Rock!
How fun that you are honing that skill!
This made me giggle— congrats on the return of your juggling skills!
