I CAN'T YET

When my daughters were younger, whenever they grew frustrated while trying something new and told me, "I can't do it," I would respond, "Finish that sentence." They'd roll their eyes and say, "I can't do it YET." Following a bike accident that left me temporarily unable to move anything below my neck, I have to relearn how to do almost everything. Whenever I say I can't do something, my daughters now remind me to finish my sentence: I can't YET.
